Maybe it sounds like a dumb twist, but how many times have teams been eliminated due to bad flights or cabs by no fault of their own?

Also, wouldn't Phil reveal the twists (if any) when the teams are there?

There's no teams there, so I don't think Phil would reveal any twists before the teams arrive.

Also, the save could possibly need to be handed in before the teams are told their placement. (spec.)

How about a penalty come with the Save though. It works like your own personal non-elimination Leg. You still get a Speed Bump, etc.

Yeah

A Fast Forward but the prize (instead of skipping all tasks) is the Save Pass thing that would save them from elimination.

Might be money or time penalty. No way they can do Speedbump because they do not know which leg the save will be used.
